Shaping the Future of Humanitarian Action
The humanitarian system is at a crossroads. NEAR and ODI / HPG co-host the secretariat of the Advisory Panel, an independent group of Global South leaders, policy thinkers, and reform-minded insiders who bring courage and clarity to debates on the future of aid.
The Panel provides timely, politically honest advice to donors and multilateral agencies on financing, coordination, leadership, and the humanitarian reset. NEAR ensures the Panel remains grounded in the lived realities of crisis-affected people – connecting frontline knowledge with global decision-making.
