Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Region

Local Knowledge, Collective Power

In Latin America we have 33 members and two partners in 10 countries (Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Brazil).

Across Latin America and the Caribbean, Localisation Labs are not just platforms – they are deeply rooted movements driven by community experience, autonomy, and a vision for long-term change. From Central America, to Colombia and Venezuela, Lab leaders are advancing models of humanitarian and development action that are grounded in local realities and built to last. Their work demonstrates that when local actors lead, systems become more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable. Localisation labs have been developed in Guatemala, El Salvador, Venezuela, Colombia and recently in Honduras.
