The Hidden Infrastructure of Climate Finance

In her column at Proximate, Maria Amália Souza draws on NEAR’s recent publication to examine gaps in the global financial system and how resources can move more directly to communities in the Global South.

She points to NEAR’s mapping of 63 Global South pooled funds as an important step toward making this often-overlooked financing infrastructure more visible.
